What is Third Party Logistics (3PL)
The term "3PL," sometimes known as "3rd Party Logistics," refers to a third-party provider of outsourced logistics services, including integrated operations, warehousing, and transportation, that may be tailored to meet clients' needs.
Third-party logistics facilities are designed to be as efficient and quick as possible. It can increase capacity without hiring more staff because it can handle the increased volume as a business grows. Thus, companies can find ways to reduce delivery times and shipping costs with the aid of a 3PL.
