
With weak fuel prices, shippers of small parcels can look for discounts

The months of March and April are when small-parcel shippers renegotiate contracts. The primary goal of rate cap in the contract is to let shippers incur price inflation that is less than carriers’ General Rate Increase (GRI). And with fuel at multi-year lows, small-parcel shippers have an opportunity to ask for discounts.
