What is MRO Inventory?

MRO can be described as the consumables, spare parts, and supplies required for routine maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) in an organization. MRO inventory features several items that are integral to the production process but are not a part of the final products to be delivered to the customers. Some examples of MRO inventory are cleaning supplies, PPE kits, safety equipment, repair tools, and other similar supplies.
