The captive companies in US are currently being re-domiciled to onshore locations for non-traditional perspectives such as employee benefits among large sized F500 companies from Bermuda and Cayman Islands. This trend is witnessed largely after the implementation of Dodd-Frank Act & NRRA (Non-Admittance and Re-insurance Reform Act) in 2012.It focuses on the types of Employee Benefits which are commonly placed under captives and the adoption rates among F500 companies in US. It highlights the advantages of using captives over existing methods such as multi-national pooling.
