The organizations are continuously striving to increase their sales and profits. They also have to cope with market changes such as short product life cycle and high level of seasonality. 
Other challenges related to market and warehousing include inadequate visibility of inventory, lack of inventory oversight, inefficient space utilization and unbalanced business growth. All these challenges coupled with growth in online retail sector demand a flexible and efficient material handling system.
