Golden State Foods Promotes Trisha McRoberts to CPO

Golden State Foods, a leader in the food industry, has recently promoted Trisha McRoberts to Corporate Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer (CPO), a move that signifies a major step in enhancing its procurement and supply chain operations.

In her new role, Trisha is expected to drive further advancements in GSF's procurement strategies. Her leadership is anticipated to not only streamline the company's supply chain but also to foster sustainable and cost-effective procurement practices.

Trisha will continue her collaboration with internal stakeholders, further enhancing the strategic sourcing team's role in centralizing the company’s procurement activities, including packaging, food ingredients, and indirect spend categories.

Trisha, who joined GSF in 2021, has been instrumental in transforming the procurement processes within the company. Her approach, combining innovative strategies with industry best practices, has been pivotal in enhancing GSF's operational efficiency and supplier relationships.

Since joining Golden State Foods as Group Vice President of Strategic Sourcing in 2021, Trisha has been pivotal in innovating procurement processes, particularly through implementing a category management approach in food processing. She has also been instrumental in nurturing and expanding the procurement team's capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.

With an MBA in Supply Chain from the University of Arkansas, she brings a rich blend of academic insight and practical experience to the table. Her previous roles in various companies have equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities and dynamics of procurement in the food industry. Prior to joining GSF, Trisha served as global head of Americas Procurement with McCormick and Company, Inc. Additionally, her earlier career experience encompasses logistics management with Nestlé Purina PetCare Company and Jack Links, Inc.
