Data, Analytics and Consulting services are an integral part of a pharmaceutical company's pre and post drug launch activities. These organizations spend anywhere between USD 30 million to USD 50 million on a single service provider while sourcing various secondary market research services. These services provide them with indispensable insights about patients, payers, prescribers, drug positioning and so much more. However, the number of global service providers in the market has not grown in tandem with the increasing demand for quality pharmaceutical data, analytics and consulting. This, in turn, has resulted in not only the lack of choice of service providers at a global scale, but also single supplier dominance in the secondary market research space.
