Job Objective:

Grow the business in the specified territory (US West Coast) by developing meaningful client relationships.  To do this, the candidate will need to quickly assimilate Beroe’s capabilities and expertise with client requirements and perceived client gaps.

Duties and Accountabilities:

Meet or exceed Sales performance targets (Activity Metrics, Pipeline development, business closed, cash-in)

Annual quota $1Mn+

Accurately predict territory sales performance for the territory (monthly and quarterly)  

2-5 scheduled client visits or pre-scheduled calls per week. Documenting all client activity with sufficient detail in Sales automation tool.

Appropriately manage all phases of the sales cycles from prospecting, to writing proposals and contract negotiations,  closing the deal and collecting payment and ensuring appropriate hand-off to delivery engagement & delivery;

Represent Beroe in industry conferences.

Identify relevant business issues and solutions for the assigned industry segment

Working Relationships:

The candidate will work with the Research Team as well as with the client to create solutions that fit client needs.  Also, this individual will collaborate closely with peers in the Global Sales organization at Beroe, as well as become a member of professional business forums to meet peers, mentors, and new prospective clients. 

Education, desirable qualification and educational establishment, additional education:

  • Essential  :
    • Overall experience 15+ years, with minimum 5+years of business development experience in the Procurement solutions area to Global 1000 companies.
  • Desirable :
    • Knows how to work in a home office/virtual office environment.
    • Industry knowledge or past experience with territory (industry or functional) for which they are being considered

Sense of urgency, accountability, trustworthiness, an interest and curiosity, highly self-motivated and goal oriented, creativity and the ability to think quick on your feet
