As a Product Administrator, you will play a crucial role in in shaping our application and product support strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance product performance, and ensure a smooth customer experience. Your responsibilities will include product data management, documentation, and supporting product development from conception to end-of-life. Your insights into the procurement sector and experience in product management will be invaluable in enhancing customer experiences and optimizing system performance across applications that support those experiences.

What does this look like Day to Day?

You will be in charge of the triage and management of request tickets, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to allocate resources, provide status updates, and collect any additional requirements when necessary.

Your daily responsibilities will center around the efficient management of incoming request tickets related to product changes, enhancements, and updates. As the central point of contact for these requests, you will play a critical role in ensuring their smooth execution. This includes addressing communication gaps resulting from time zone differences, facilitating efficient coordination, and maintaining effective cross-team collaboration.

  • Contribute to aligning application support initiatives with the organization's broader strategy.
  • Work independently and in a team as required, applying leading product management skills, tools, practices, and techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Exhibit understanding of core product concepts such as strategic thinking, delivery, agile planning, and design thinking.
  • Contribute to internal team performance reviews, offering input for team improvements.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual goal achievement.
  • Facilitate relationships with external vendors to augment product capabilities.
  • Assist in compiling regular updates and insights to inform the Program Manager, Product Leads, and senior leadership.
  • Engage in customer feedback collection and analysis, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Help ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met and customer expectations are exceeded. · Support Agile methodologies within the team and contribute to the processes.
  • Assist with prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog, refining user stories and acceptance criteria, and utilizing lean and agile principles to streamline development and maximize value delivery.
  • Participate in quality control efforts aimed at minimizing software bugs and system issues.
  • Document relevant processes and procedures for compliance and internal knowledge sharing.
  • Work with the team to effectively adapt the support model to cover multiple time zones.
  • Contribute to the team's remote and face-to-face collaborative efforts.
  • Utilize multiple communication platforms for effective internal and external communication.
  • Assist in developing and refining the product roadmap, responding to market dynamics and customer feedback.
  • Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience working in the procurement industry.
  • Experience with Design Thinking and lean principles.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in product management or Business Systems Analysis.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate a corporate landscape effectively.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational and time management abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
